Hello, lovely readers! The hurricane has blown through here, and although my entire area is still healing, life is beginning to return to normal. August was a whirlwind, astrologically and here on the physical plane.
It should be a relief to you that Mercury goes direct in Leo on September 5th. Finally! It’s Virgo’s time to shine, now that her ruling planet is back in action. Not to mention that, for everybody else, too, you can probably sign that new lease or make that big career leap you were wisely waiting for. And maybe your phone will stop acting up. (Maybe.) That night, Neptune will be at Opposition, meaning it is the brightest it will be all year, and you’ll be able to see it all night long! It’s the best night to photograph it. Which is awfully fitting for the next event…
The moon is full in Pisces on September 6th. Neptune just made itself seen, and now that some of those subconscious dreams and emotions have literally had light shone upon them, you can see them for what they truly are. The impact of the solar eclipse will be felt until roughly February, but, this energy change will be a welcome shift from outward to inward. So, how exactly did the eclipse make you feel? How have you felt since? Delve into that, as you’ll be able to see it very clearly this night. Pisces is the master of psychic energy, too, so open yourself up and be ready to listen. The Universe talks in many voices. It might be a good idea to meditate and journal your thoughts directly afterward, for reference later. Mercury has only just come out of retrograde, and it may have brought many messages with back with it. Open. Observe. Document.
On September 20th, the new moon falls in Virgo. What insights did you obtain during the full moon? Any new moon is an opportunity to cleanse and heal. So, look at all of the places in your life hampered by miscommunication, disorderliness, and emotional unavailability. How can you organize your self care? Are there any situations where clarity can bring about a new level of openness between you and a loved one? These are the kinds of questions you may want to ask. Soft, earthly energy is there for you to embrace. Virgo season is almost over.
On September 22nd, the Sun moves into Libra! This time of year is a lot of fun for me, being a Scorpio with a Virgo moon, Sag rising, and… Venus in Libra. (My boyfriend is a Libra, too, by the way.) The rebalancing we’ve needed is finally here! Seasons of the cardinal signs usually feel kind of harsh (ahem, Cancers, Aries, and Caps) but Libra season is just different. Action with a lovely ease to it. Divine balance. Fairness as an expression of love. The transition from Virgo to Libra is so smooth compared to other cycles. Quiet deliberation to breezy interaction. I think the world can always use a little more of that.
Pluto finally turns direct in Capricorn on September 28th. In some sense, you’ve probably felt as if you’ve been floundering around in the dark since April. (A lot of that has to do with where Pluto lives in your chart.) A Pluto retrograde tests our ability to let the Universe’s energy guide our metamorphoses. I.e., the allowance part of the manifestation process. This is scary in a culture that believes white-knuckling everything is the key to success. Well, good news to the control freaks, Pluto is back! But, there is a natural ebb and flow to the cycle, as Pluto’s stages last half a year. That allowance thing you should learn isn’t actually going away. You might want to practice. Jupiter also opposes Uranus on this day, which is one of the most positive astrological aspects in the sky. Courage and luck fueling humanitarianism and rebellion! The energy will linger into November, so you have a lot to work with.
Compared to August, things have really died down, and I think I can speak for everyone when I say I’m thankful for it. Enjoy the energies… I know I will be!
Thanks for reading,
